The next step towards financial freedom from NHS midwifery, that will help keep me in the maternity loop, birthjourneys, and therefore ANY midwifery I see fit to practice…..is belly painting. I draw and paint, I work among women with full bellies, and painting bellies for photo shoots or baby ‘showers’ makes perfect sense. Painting and henna isn’t new to me. But actually selling my artistic talent will be.
Soooo….who has a tum they would care to lend me for an hour? Strict criteria at this early and fragile start of my venture is that you are pregnant! A spherical gut filled with ale gives me the shape, but that masculine wiry hairline above and beyond the umbilicus requires more paint and, probably, an entirely different category and cost.
If you’re up to visiting me and would like an hour’s free painting session, do get in touch. I need ‘guinea pigs’ and photos to show off. You’ll be welcome to any of the photos (i need just your belly). Feel free to bring a picture of the type of design you’d like.
Email me on the ‘contact me’ page. The offer is just until I get enough ‘samplers’.
